Again. Just to ensure that we're entirely clear on this.
Not "stolen property." Not at all. And it won't be stolen property unless you have anything to do with it. [Yes, he does realize that this isn't, strictly speaking, true.]

I think it only fair that I warn you. Because, really, if you can't look out for yourself, who can you-- [A pause as he realizes how utterly bad that joke is.] Right. Never mind.
It has to do with Narvin. I imagine you've all met him—serious bloke, former Coordinator of the CIA. Difficult to miss. The thing is, he seems rather determined to nick my TARDIS, and I don't doubt that he may try the same thing on all of you. Well, on the ones of you who've brought the TARDIS along, obviously.
So try to take care, and mind where you leave your keys.
[He clears his throat uncomfortably. He'd really rather not admit that he was careless enough to allow Narvin to lift his key from his coat when he wasn't looking.]
And you...might want to have some sort of security protocol set up in the event that taking care isn't enough. Just a minor suggestion. Very minor. I'm sure it's occurred to all of you already, in fact.
After all, brilliant minds think--[And ANOTHER pause.] ...No. Never mind.
